Privacy policy

This policy applies to the website https://moneywr.fr and to the MoneyWr mobile application. It describes the data processed, the reasons for that processing and your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

The data controller is Process Software, EURL (a French single-member private limited company), 20 rue Kléber, 92320 Châtillon, France (RCS Nanterre 2026 B 02976, SIRET 101 864 973 00017). For any question or to exercise your rights: contact@moneywr.fr .

The website

The website is entirely static. It sets no cookies, loads no third-party scripts, includes no audience measurement and collects no data. The fonts are served from the website itself. Your choice of light or dark theme is remembered in your browser, without a cookie and without being transmitted.

The application: data processed

• Account : email address and password, stored in hashed form; application language; phone number, only if you add it to receive codes by SMS. Legal basis: performance of the service.
• Recognised devices : a technical identifier, the device name (for example “Google Pixel 7”) and the date of last sign-in, so that a code is requested on any new device. You can remove them in the application. Legal basis: performance of the service and account security.
• Budget : income, balance, fixed expenses, projects, unexpected expenses and income, adjustments, savings. Legal basis: performance of the service.
• Spender profile : your answers to the questionnaire and the calculated profile. Legal basis: performance of the service.
• Shared budget (optional): if you invite someone, that person sees and edits your budget (shared mode) or only the shared expenses and each person’s share (couple mode). You can remove them at any time. Legal basis: your consent and theirs.
• Referral (optional): one referral code per account and the link between the referrer and the person referred, in order to grant the free month of Premium. Legal basis: performance of the service.
• Support and crashes : the message you write to support and, if you attach it, the application log (screens visited, network calls, errors, never a password or a code). After a crash, this log is sent automatically the next time the application starts. Legal basis: legitimate interest and performance of the service.
• On your phone : the latest server responses are kept so that the application can be displayed without a network connection, and the Android widgets keep today’s balance and the next expense (amounts hidden by default). Everything is erased when you sign out and when you delete your account.
• Bank connection (optional): accounts, balances and transactions provided by Bridge, a licensed account aggregation provider. Your banking credentials are entered with Bridge and are never passed on to MoneyWr. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by disconnecting the bank.
• Notifications (optional): the delivery address provided by your notification distributor and a log of the notifications sent, to avoid duplicates. Legal basis: your consent.
• Technical log : server-side timestamps and errors, without any budget content, to keep the service running. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Artificial intelligence analysis

When you request an analysis, an extract of your budget is sent to Anthropic PBC (Claude model, United States, and therefore outside the European Union): amounts, categories, months and transaction descriptions. These descriptions are cleaned automatically before sending: email addresses, IBANs, long numbers and the names of people that follow a mention of a transfer are removed. No name, email address, identifier or account number from your account is sent. The names of projects and expenses that you have entered are sent as they are: do not write sensitive data in them. The yearly analysis is never triggered without your action.

If you connect a bank, each new merchant or payer found in your transactions is also submitted automatically to Anthropic so that it can be filed in a category and given a readable name: only the description cleaned in the same way, the direction (debit or credit), a typical amount and the number of occurrences are sent. An answer about a business is kept and reused for all users, with no link to you; an answer about a transfer between individuals is kept only for your account.

Recipients

Your data is processed by the publisher of MoneyWr and stored on a server located in France, operated by the publisher itself. It is not sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes. The only third parties are the following, each for the function concerned only:

• Bridge : bank connection, if you enable it.
• Anthropic : filing of your bank transactions and the yearly artificial intelligence analysis.
• Google : notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and subscription management (Google Play Billing). Without Google services, the UnifiedPush distributor you choose, for example ntfy.
• Hostinger : sending of MoneyWr emails (address confirmation, codes, alerts, support replies) and domain name management.

Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. When the account is deleted, it is erased from the server. Technical logs are kept for a maximum of twelve months.

Security

Exchanges between the application and the server are encrypted (HTTPS). Sensitive fields are encrypted in the database. Access to the server is restricted and logged.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Exporting your data is available directly in the application settings. For any other request, write to contact@moneywr.fr . You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority).
